Rescue Team - Water Rescue
The Ocean and Surf Rescue Program is an "all hands on class" with little time spent in a classroom. During this program you will be trained in the basics of Water Rescue to Advanced Water Rescue Procedures and Techniques of today. These are the same procedures used by Coast Guard Rescue Swimmers as well as Life Guards of Hawaii for Heavy Surf conditions.

Class participation is a must to achieve credit for the four-day course. You as a student will be put to the test and pushed to the limit in different Rescue type scenarios. You will be trained in small boat rescue operations, rescue swimmer operations and the use of PWC (Personal Water Craft) watercraft with Rescue Sled.

This four-day class will be demanding and tiring. Time in the water will be near 90%.

Were else can you obtain over 25 hours of Con-ed credits and have fun doing so. As well as learn something new.
